Atkinson Moss are delighted to be working with their client in search for an experienced and enthusiastic Administrator to support all levels of the Norwich office ensuring an effective and efficient working environment.

The role encompasses general administration facilities, office management and project involvement so is varied and exciting! The successful candidate will be pro-active with a hands-on and collaborative approach and an excellent multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Leadership and Technical, Norwich based, teams
  • Manage and oversee all employee office needs
  • Provide general administration and support to Projects using the internal project management system (Rapport). This will also involve document creation, formatting, filing, professional report printing etc
  • Facilities management of the office including ensuring Health & Safety and ISO standards are met and maintained.
  • Management of stationery, kitchen, and office supplies; confidential waste, maintenance and local office suppliers.
  • Support in implementing and maintaining business processes and procedures
  • Front of house duties, including meeting and greeting visitors and answering calls.
  • Arranging and manage local staff events, celebrations and employee recognition.
  • Disseminate induction and Health & Safety information
  • Communicate with people at all levels including prestigious clients (both current and potential), consultants, contractors, suppliers and other offices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Mathematically competent and good with numbers
  • Experience in managing resources & logistics as well as experience implementing new processes
  • Experience of dealing with people and communicating at all levels in person, on the telephone and by using electronic means
  • Experience of meeting deadlines and working in a pressurised environment with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge or interest of the architecture/construction industry?(desirable)

This is a permanent and full-time position working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm (37.5hrs per week).
