Offshore Wind Consultant Required

Our UK based Global client seeks an experienced Offshore Wind Consultant with the following must have skills and experience

Min of 2 years of commercial experience in a similar role

Requires Essential skills and experience:

  • You hold at least an undergraduate degree in a technical or numeric discipline from a leading institution. Post-graduate study will be well regarded.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience from engineering, operations, research, strategy or consulting.
  • You have knowledge of the offshore wind industry and have ideally serviced clients in the industry.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to manage projects, including the work of colleagues, and deliver quality whilst under pressure.
  • You have the skills to clearly articulate and communicate complex concepts, both verbally and in written form.
  • You are a confident communicator who is keen to get to the bottom of a problem by engaging with people face-to-face.
  • You have strong numerical skills, statistical knowledge, and are comfortable performing analysis and forecasting in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver successful consulting projects. This will include both coordination of others and timely production of your own quality research.
  • Undertake primary and secondary research using a range of methods, including proactive telephone-based investigations, deep dives at industry events, desk studies and detailed data analysis.
  • Write clear and effective reports that present all work and findings in an engaging and simple manner.
  • Attend client meetings and present at client offices and industry events
  • When applicable, feed learning back to research team to ensure the continued relevance, quality, and completeness of the3 company’s market leading intelligence services.
  • Develop a personal network of relationships across the industry.
