Senior Payroll Associate - Exciting Opportunity

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum + annual discretionary bonus

Job Type: Permanent (full time or minimum 30 hours per week)

Location: Norwich (hybrid working options available)

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to join a dynamic and supportive team? Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Payroll Associate to manage a diverse payroll portfolio.

The Role:

  • Accurately process payrolls (weekly or monthly) for multiple clients, including payroll calculations, statutory payments, and auto-enrolment compliance.
  • Onboarding of new starters.
  • Respond to queries via email and telephone.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports using Excel and payroll software.

About You:

  • Proven recent experience in payroll, ideally within an outsourced bureau or accountancy practice.
  • Knowledge of payroll calculations, statutory payments, and relevant payroll legislation.
  • Proficient in payroll software and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage workload independently and collaboratively.
