We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer to join theirdynamic team.
Job Description
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of gas-filled appliances across various commercial settings. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all appliances are functioning safely and efficiently, in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of commercial gas appliances.
- Diagnose and repair faults on gas appliances and associated equipment.
- Perform safety checks and ensure compliance with gas safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report any issues or recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in gas appliance technology.
- Work independently and manage time efficiently to meet service schedules.
- Participate in an on-call rota for emergency call-outs as required.
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, including participation in training and development programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- COCN1 (Core Commercial Gas Safety) or CODNCO1 (Changeover Domestic to Commercial Gas Safety) qualification.
- Proven experience in maintaining and servicing commercial gas appliances.
- Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving license.
Desirable:
- Additional qualifications relevant to the role (e.g., TPCP1A, CIGA1, CDGA1).
- Experience working with a variety of commercial gas appliances.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
