Pre-Press Operator - Packaging

A Pre-Press Operator is required for a packaging manufacturing company located in the Norwich area. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in print production and experience in a similar role.

• Collaborating closely with the Customer Service, Design, and Production teams.
• Processing customer files and converting them into print-ready PDF formats for approval and manufacturing.
• Planning and optimizing print layouts for production efficiency.
• Creating visual proofs for customer approval.
• Managing plate output for printing.
• Liaising with supply partners to maintain current technology while exploring new advancements for future business growth.

• Previous experience in lithographic printing workflows, ideally within solid board packaging.
• Proficiency in key design and pre-press software, including the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, etc). a
• A good understanding of colour management in print is advantageous.
• A flexible and proactive mindset, open to adopting new technologies and ways of working.

• A training program for understanding the specific workflows and software utilised in our pre press area, alongside the workflow across our business.
