About the EPR Transformation and Adoption Project Manager role:
You will play a critical role in leading the implementation of an integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system across multiple healthcare organisations. Working alongside operational, clinical and digital health teams, you will oversee sub-projects in areas like benefits realisation, organisational readiness, end-user training and workforce support. This role demands excellent leadership and project management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of key programme milestones. You will actively champion cultural and behavioural change while promoting innovative practices for patient care improvement.
Key Skills for the EPR Transformation and Adoption Project Manager:
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale digital transformation projects in healthcare, particularly EPR systems.
- Expertise in project governance, risk management, and delivering measurable benefits.
- Strong leadership and change management skills to influence diverse teams and foster adoption of new systems.
- Advanced ability to interpret complex data, develop strategies, and present information to varied stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of technical and operational environments, including digital health policies, data analysis, and process design.
- Proficiency in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration to drive transformation across multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of NHS Digital deliverables and national modernisation strategies.
Desirable for the EPR Transformation and Adoption Project Manager:
- Accredited project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management practices.
- Experience with procurement processes, contract evaluation and policy development.
