Senior Buyer

An exciting new role on the back of sustained business growth for this successful Norfolk-based global manufacturer. Available on a hybrid working basis with 2 days per week in the office, this role reports into the Head of Indirect Procurement and sits within a large and widely respected procurement function.Working as part of an established Indirect Procurement team, this role will have tangible strategic responsibilities and make a significant contribution to the success of this organisation. Key areas of focus will include: managing a variety of projects across a range of Indirect spend; Supplier performance management; supporting commercial contract management activities; ongoing stakeholder management and support; and to play an pro-active role in risk management.To succeed in this role, you will have operated in a purchasing capacity with some exposure to Indirect procurement spend with any sector background considered. With excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills, you will be able to demonstrate resilience and perseverance to deliver in a complex working environment with the ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of attention to detail. With high levels of drive and a self-motivated approach to your work, you will be open to future opportunities for personal and career development with full CIPS support available.
