Technical BuyerAre you a strategic thinker with a knack for negotiating the best deals? My client is seeking a dynamic Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you'll be responsible for efficiently managing procurement activities to support our operational needs. From raising purchase orders to negotiating price and delivery terms, you'll play a vital role in ensuring cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency.Key Responsibilities: - Manage purchase orders with precision and compliance.
- Review purchase demands and make informed decisions.
- Foster strong supplier relationships and ensure high service levels.
- Negotiate pricing aligned with company strategy.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering for product specifications.
- Ensure supplier compliance with operational standards.
- Report and mitigate supplier risks.
- Contribute to continual process improvement.
Requirements: - Recognised qualification in purchasing and CIPS Level 3 or above.
- Experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in IT tools and systems.
- Commercial awareness and adaptability.
