The role
This really is an interesting opportunity to learn and develop your skills as a Construction Project Manager, as youwill be supporting the delivery of a number of relatively uniqueProjects, varying from refurbishments to new build.
Joining an established team, you willwork closely withthe Senior Project Managers to ensurethe delivery of substantial, high value projects within a large and diverse Estate.
A significant amount of investment has been signed off to deliver a wide ranging and interesting number of projects over the next 4-6 years, and as Construction PM, you will play an integral part in ensuring the successful delivery of these.
Ideal Candidate
As Construction Project Manager, you will either be educated to degree level in a construction related discipline or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience in a professional environment.
It is desirable that the Project Manager understands and has delivered projects with a recognised management framework, such as RICS, CIOB, Agile Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation, or transferrable skillset.
It is essential that you have knowledge of Microsoft Project, Asta, Visio and other project management related software and tools as well as MS Office packages.
Experience of working in construction projects and an understanding of the construction process is of course also essential.
