Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Norfolk
Salary: up to 拢35,000

My client is seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role. This role offers great progression and is ideal for someone with previous Quantity Surveying experience within the highways sector.

Role Responsibility

- Preparing and managing project budgets and cost plans
- Conducting cost analysis and cost control
- Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts
- Managing financial accounts and reporting to senior management on project performance
- Securing payments from customers within specified contract terms
- Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontractor accounts
- Providing advice and guidance on contractual matters
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

The Ideal Candidate
路Must have quantity surveying experience within the highways sector
路Highways surfacing experience is desirable
路Prior experience or an understanding of various forms of contract, including NEC and JCT, is essential.
路Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also required.
路Experience working on highway maintenance projects and larger highway improvements and upgrades -
