Renowned for their diverse portfolio, this organisation delivers exceptional civil engineering projects, including concrete repairs, enabling works, earthworks, highways, and much more. Due to sustained growth, they are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.

This is not your average Managing Quantity Surveyor position. Youll work closely with the Commercial Director, actively shaping and influencing projects that set industry benchmarks in innovation and quality.

What Were Looking For:

  • Knowledge: Minimum 6 years in commercial roles.
  • Proven Experience: Experience with a Main Contractor or Consultancy is welcome.
  • Contractual Expertise: Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for civil engineering, highways, and the construction sector.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, contracts, and bills of quantities.
  • Negotiate contracts and work schedules to deliver optimal results.
  • Monitor projects to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Provide legal and risk-related advice, helping to resolve disputes.
  • Compile detailed reports on costs and project progress.
