Bennett & Game are excited to be collaborating with a leading construction contractor based in Norwich who specialise in providing a wide range of property services, including large contracts for the replacement of Fire Doors, Fire Stopping and associated remedial works. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their expanding team. Our client offers a comprehensive range of consultancy and contract services spanning across the education, healthcare, commercial, social housing and leisure sectors.

It is envisioned that a successful candidate will have prior experience as a quantity surveyor, preferably in minor works or maintenance projects but are open candidates from a different background.

Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Job Overview
  • Lead and motivate a small team of estimators and procurers to deliver accurate quotes and timely materials for passive fire and small-scale construction projects.
  • Prepare and analyse costings, budgets, and contracts while monitoring project expenditure, cash flow, and financial performance.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to negotiate contracts and ensure projects meet scope, quality, time, and budget goals.
  • Maintain records, generate reports, and assess risks to optimize cost savings, timelines, and project outcomes.
Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Job Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator ideally within minor works or maintenance projects.
  • A valid Driver's License and willingness to travel to Norwich and to sites when required.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
