With a turnover in excess of 200 million, the company has over 30 branches across the country and work in several sectors including social housing, education, healthcare, leisure, heritage and industrial.

The Role

Our client is currently seeking o recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their branch in Norfolk working on social housing refurbishment schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to high-quality refurbishment projects while ensuring cost efficiency and financial control.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of cost management for social housing refurbishment projects
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and financial performance
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency
  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure compliance with budgets
  • Negotiate contracts, procurement, and variations with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare and present financial reports and final accounts
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards
