Its not just a place to shop or dineits a space where we can connect with the stories behind the food and the land that sustains us. Opening in May 2025, we hope to offer an unrivalled customer experience whether it be in our beautiful retail space, a tribute to the great food produced in the region or our relaxing café/restaurant, a place to experience the very best in locally sourced fresh food, artisan coffee, cakes and pastries.

The Person

Youll be an accomplished self-starter with the hospitality experience to get our restaurant up and running. An advocate of both local sourcing and sustainable farming, youll never-the-less be able to blend that with the commercial savvy required to operate a successful business. Youre probably already running something with great service and high standards so those important qualities will be second nature and youll be happy and comfortable leading a team. Most importantly youll have a clear idea of what you could do, given an opportunity to do it.

The Job

This site is brand new and youll be involved in all aspects of getting the restaurant ready to trade. Youll play an active role in recruiting the team of chefs, junior management and staff, be involved in local marketing and have input into supplier choice and menu development. When ready to open, the site is yours and youll take control of everything - P&L, setting the tone with regards to service and standards, organising seasonal promotions from the ground up and proposing, setting and managing all restaurant objectives. Your brief will be to become one of Norwichs best-loved café/restaurants, offering locally sourced and high-quality food. Its largely up to you how you get there.
