The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and committed individual to join the team at our Diss site as a Finance Assistant – Part Time.  This role is a critical one and will be responsible for providing assistance in the Finance team.

Main Purpose of Job

  • Credit control for the Diss site, ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.
  • Chasing overdue payments.
  • Other finance tasks, as directed.

Key qualifications, skills and attributes

  • High level of numeracy skills.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to influence others and improve processes and controls.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective team member with good interpersonal skills.
  • Honest and acts with integrity and takes responsibility.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet targets.

The hours for this role will be 09:00-15:00 Monday to Friday.  However, hours can be flexible.

Position to start on 2nd January 2025.
