Finance Assistant - Hybrid Working

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000

Reed Accountancy Norwich are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our clients award winning team in Norwich. This role is ideal for an account's candidate, looking to kickstart their career within a fast paced, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the Management Accountant with the preparation of month-end management accounts and other financial reporting.
  • Prepare regular cash flow forecasts.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT returns.
  • Process staff expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an account's role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interest in undertaking AAT studies or already be studying
