We are in search of a highly motivated and organised Secondary Cover Supervisor to join our educational team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing quality education to secondary school students, stepping in to deliver engaging lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.

Day to day of the role:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across various subjects, including mathematics, science, English, and history.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and learning styles of students.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
• Effectively manage student behaviour and offer support to those with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and fellow teachers to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Quickly adapt to new teaching environments and subject matter with professionalism and competence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in a Cover Supervisor role or similar educational positions.
• Ability to engage with students from diverse ages, backgrounds, and learning abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction within the school community.
• Independent and proactive work ethic, along with the ability to work cohesively in a team setting.
• A passion for teaching and a dedicated commitment to fostering student success.
