- Source and procure materials, components, and services required for manufacturing projects in line with project timelines and budgets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor supply chain performance and address any issues that could impact project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to meet requirements.
- Ensure compliance with MoD and industry-specific procurement standards and regulations.
- Proven experience in a procurement or buying role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain processes and procurement strategies.
- Familiarity with MoD or defence sector requirements is highly desirable.
- Must be a British citizen due to the security requirements of the projects.
- Monday to Thursday: 07:45 to 16:30
- Friday: 07:45 to 12:15
