Stores Person


Our prestigious, manufacturing client, based in Wroxham are currently seeking a Stores Person, to join their a highly reputable company.


This is a full time, permanent position.


Are you:


Confident using Stores IT systems, ideally Navision/Microsoft Dynamics?

Confident user of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel etc?


Do you have:


Experience of working in a busy stores team in a manufacturing/production environment?

Experience of Goods In/Despatch, Stock Keeping or Stock Control?


If so, this could be the role for you!


As the Stores Person Engineer, you will manage the Stores function which entails receiving all purchased items required and ensure that they are stored correctly and distributed appropriately across the Wroxham facility.



Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Receive, organise and locate stock.
  • Liaise with other departments and suppliers regarding stock levels and assist in the kitting up of parts.
  • Maintain an accurate/timely booking computerised system.
  • Ensure that delivery notes are correctly and promptly dealt with so that invoices can be paid on time.
  • Manage stock levels and keep production management up to date with any risks affecting the build schedules.
  • Pay attention to and adopt safe working procedures, always following and adhering to 6S standards.
  • Undertake other duties as required to assist within the Production team.
