About the Hospital
The Hospital is an inpatient, psychiatric hospital with mental health beds across five wards. The Hospital is able to offer a 24 hour acute admission service within a safe and secure environment.
Our registered hospital is dedicated to providing specialised care for men and women aged 18 and above, who are struggling with severe mental distress. These individuals find themselves in situations where safe care within the community is not feasible.
Our acute inpatient mental health services support people of working age who may be detained under section of the Mental Health Act or they may be admitted informally to ensure a seamless transition to ensure continuity of care and treatment.
About the Role:
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing person centred care to our inpatients. Working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary teams, you will typically manage a caseload of 14-16 patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive and effective mental health support. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to autonomously lead teaching sessions for junior doctors and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality clinical care for inpatients.
Manage a caseload of 14-16 patients.
Work autonomously and contribute to teaching sessions.
Collaborate with a well-established multi-disciplinary team which includes OT, psychologist, visiting GP, physical health practitioner and RMNs.
Participate in an on-call rota.
What We Offer:
Competitive salary of up to £200,000 based on experience.
Payments can be made as PAYE or via LTD company on a service level agreement.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:
Full GMC registration
Psychiatry experience within multi-disciplinary teams
MRCPsych or equivalent
Section 12(2) approval and AC Approval Essential
