Adults Locality Social Worker
Norfolk County Council are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Adults Locality Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Adults Locality Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Adults Locality Social Worker responsibilities include:
- Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
- Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
- Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
- Liaising with other professionals
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Holding cases
- Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm.
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings
- Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Experience preferred / Minimum Requirements:
- Post qualifying experience of working as an Adults Locality Social Worker
- HCPC Registration
- 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
