Position: Deputy Manager
Location: Norwich
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £39,000 per annum

Deputy Care Manager Your Role:

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager to maintain the highest standards of care. Your leadership will be key in nurturing the skills of the care team and ensuring residents receive the personalized care and attention they deserve.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
  • Administer medications as required.
  • Assist in creating and updating care plans, while helping staff to develop their understanding and skills in this area.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in resident review processes and contribute to their care planning.
  • Mentor and support the care team, offering guidance to improve their practices.
  • Conduct staff supervisions and deliver training sessions.
  • Assist in the auditing process to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Participate in management meetings and contribute innovative ideas for enhancing resident outcomes.
  • Apply your expertise in person-centred care planning and dementia care to support our residents and team.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • QCF Qualification.
  • Previous experience managing a team in a care environment.
  • Understanding of safeguarding adults.
  • Strong record-keeping skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • A positive, energetic attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
