A UK SaaS business are giving their suite of products a "face lift" and are looking for a Software Development Manager to drive technical innovation and play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy!
Hybrid is the ideal working model but this role can be worked on a majority remote basis if preferred but you must be local enough to make the odd trip to the Norwich office.

The Business :

The day to day :
- You'll design and develop a SaaS solution whilst ensuring high standards across architecture, delivery and QA.
- You'll lead and mentor a cross-functional team of around 10 Software and QA Engineers where you'll champion collaboration, continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- You'll work with various departments to align technology initiatives with business strategies so budgets, resource and capacity planning will all be important
- From ideation to deployment, you'll oversee the product development lifecycle.
- Develop release management processes and ensure smooth software releases and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and testing where necessary
Required experience :
- Proven experience as a senior engineering leader whether that be in a managerial or technical leadership role.
- Hands-on experience in software development and architecture, particularly in C#.NET, ASP.NET.
- There are a small handful of legacy apps that need some maintenance so knowledge of desktop technologies is required.
- Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering complex technical projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Any similar experience in designing and delivering SaaS solutions would be a bonus
Overall package includes :
- Base salary of up to £75,000
