Pay starts at £82 per day, and positions are term-time only.
Position Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant with 4myschools, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to primary school students with SEN in Norwich. Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, MLD, SLD, and communication needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, focusing on their individual learning styles and abilities.
- Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Support students with communication needs, utilizing alternative communication methods where necessary.
- Collaborate closely with school staff and parents to ensure the holistic development and well-being of students with SEN.
Qualifications and Experience:
- While qualifications are not essential, we welcome candidates with transferable skill sets and experiences related to supporting individuals with SEN, including:
- Previous experience in SEN support roles
- Understanding of Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, MLD, SLD, and communication needs
- Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with individuals with diverse learning needs
