We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Norwich. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Support the class teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Help students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs is an advantage.
