Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support our students with a wide range of special educational needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with teachers to meet individual student needs.
  • Assisting students during classroom activities to ensure their engagement and understanding.
  • Providing one-on-one support for students with personal care and social-emotional needs.
  • Implementing behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.

About Our School: Our school caters to children and young people aged 5 to 19 years with complex and significant learning needs, including Autism, Challenging Behaviour, and Complex Needs.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory).
  • Proficiency in English (Mandatory).
  • The right to work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position).
