Location: Outstanding SEN School in Norwich
Role: Part-time/ Full-time (Flexible based on candidate availability)
Subjects: Maths (Functional Skills & GCSE) and GCSE Science
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one Maths and Science tuition at an amazing SEN school in Norwich. This is a flexible role that can be full-time or part-time depending on availability, offering an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and tailored one-to-one sessions infunctional Skills Maths, GCSE Maths, and GCSE Science.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a variety of learning needs and abilities.
- Work closely with SEN staff and support teams to ensure individual progress and engagement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and development plans.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant tutoring experience in Maths and Science.
- Experience working with SEN students, particularly in a one-to-one setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths (Functional Skills & GCSE) and GCSE Science.
- Excellent communication and adaptability to support individual learning needs.
- A patient, understanding, and student-focused approach to teaching.
