Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Our client is a vibrant cosmetics company experiencing remarkable growth and are seeking a highly motivated leader to drive our supply chain and operations strategy.

As they embark on their next phase of expansion, you’ll play a crucial role in optimising operations to support exciting new product launches and penetrate new global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to align on demand planning, product launch activities, and manage purchase orders against forecasted demand.

- Inventory Management: Monitor and optimise inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimising excess inventory. Implement effective inventory control processes to track stock levels, reorder points, and safety stock.

- Leadership: Lead regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review and update forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels. Drive best practices in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to enhance efficiency.

- Performance Tracking: Prepare and present detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, delivery, and operations planning to senior management, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Sales Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts using historical data, insights from the sales team, and upcoming product launches to ensure alignment with market demand.

Requirements:

- Experience: A minimum of five years in end-to-end supply chain management, with a strong background in demand and supply planning, particularly in fast-moving consumer goods. Ideally from a manufacturing business supplying direct to retailers.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions that drive operational success.

- Communication: Exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively manage cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Educational Background: Ideally a bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, operations management, or a related field.

- Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel and ERP systems, to enhance reporting and forecasting accuracy.
