Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon to Fri)
Reports To: Cleaning Supervisor / Facilities Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Specialist Cleaning Operative to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across commercial spaces. This role involves specialized cleaning tasks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning and maintenance in offices, restrooms, and other commercial spaces.
- Carry out floor care tasks, including stripping, waxing, and buffing.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and high-touch surfaces.
- Remove waste and ensure proper disposal of recycling.
- Follow health & safety protocols and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
- Monitor and report cleaning supply levels.
Qualifications:
- Experience in specialist cleaning in commercial settings.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and physical stamina.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with advanced cleaning equipment.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning certifications (e.g., COSHH).
Working Conditions:
- Ability to handle physical tasks and cleaning equipment.
