Key Responsibilities:* Work will be the paint refresh of rolling stock.* Preparing surfaces for the paint team in order to apply new paint in line with the customer specifications.* Your role will be primarily the surface preparation for the Paint Spraying team which will include sanding, masking and polishing the required surfaces.* You will work closely alongside a team of 12 Paint Sprayers and Preppers.* The role requires the completion of any necessary paperwork required by the client.* To understand all Standard Operating Procedures and work to these without exception, unless advised by management.* Ensure the required daily workload is completed on time and to the customer and company standard.* To carry out reasonable tasks as requested by the Team Leader or Production Manager in line with Company objectives.Requirements:* Previous paint prepping experience.* Previous use of hand and power tools relevant to surface preparation activities.* Must have worked on Rolling Stock or similar large vehicle panels.
