Due to rapid growth within the business, we are currently recruiting for a SHEQ Advisor to join our vibrant and dynamic team!

Duties of the SHEQ Advisor:

    • Work with Operational teams to help deliver high quality projects to our clients.
    • Implement policies, procedures, and Safe working practices on our site.
    • Carry out regular Office, Depot and Site Audits and Inspections.
    • Deliver Inductions to new teams and personnel.
    • Support the management in Development and distribution of Health Safety plans for standalone and Framework projects.
    • Provide advice and guidance to all staff.
    • Undertake Risk assessments and review sub-contractor documentation.
    • Monitor and review training requirements and allocate personal for training to be undertaken as required.
    • Undertake accident and investigate investigations.
    • Prepare H&S Reports and KPI statistics to senior management.
    • Preparing and delivering TBT to personnel as required
    • Drive the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives of the organization.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Civil Engineering and Utilities would be beneficial but not essential.
  • NEBOSH General /Construction or similar.
  • Member of IOSH or working toward.
  • IT Literate.
  • Ability to influence positive behaviours amongst all stakeholders.
