The position is for a Vehicle Technician at a busy franchised dealership in Norwich, offering a basic salary of £36,500 and on-target earnings of £50,000.
Candidates should have a Level 3 IMI in Service and Repair or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance along with at least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience.
Responsibilities include performing servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards, as well as conducting electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
A full and clean UK driving licence is essential, while a Class 4 MOT licence and manufacturer accreditations are desirable.
The role also includes a great benefits package and opportunities for further training, including EV/Hybrid and MOT Tester qualifications.

Our client, a Busy Franchised Dealership in Norwich have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team.Vehicle Technicians, Senior Technicians, and Master Technicians - Mechanics coming back to the motor trade are most welcome.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician, responsibilities will include:

Ensure Servicing & Repairs are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cam belt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Mechanic Warranty Repairs
Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 IMI in Service and Repair or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Class 4 MOT Licence
Manufacturer Accreditations
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)
