I am working with an AP located in Nottingham who are looking for multiple Behaviour Mentor's to join their team on a 10 week temp to perm basis. Within this role, you will be supporting pupils aged 11-16 both on a 1-1 capacity and in smaller groups of up to 6 pupils. 

This is a long-term and permanent role with working hours of 09:00-16:00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students that have been permanently excluded, or are at risk of being permanently excluded from mainstream education, displaying Challenging Behaviours.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies, predominantly on a 1-1 basis, or in smaller groups of up to 6 students.
- Support students in their social and emotional development
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher

Skills:
- Experience working with children, especially those with (SEN), ADHD, SEMH, Complex & Challenging Behaviours.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively educate and engage students in learning activities
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents/guardians
- Knowledge of toddler care and development
