We have a new vacancy with a successful, independent accountancy firm commutable from Nottingham, Long Eaton, Beeston and the surrounding areas. The role can be hired anywhere from Junior to Senior level, so the firm will tailor the role to the successful applicant. Training can be offered to those at a more junior level.

The firm is easily accessible via public transport routes and there is often street parking nearby. 

The job could involve all aspects of client service, including limited company clients’ accounts, tax returns and ad hoc work such as bookkeeping and payroll. You will play a crucial role in this firm’s team and be rewarded with a competitive salary. Flexibility may be offered to those who need reduced or altered working hours. Some hybrid working is available.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Preparation of year-end accounts to review stage.
  • Preparation of clients’ VAT returns.
  • Develop good working relationships with clients to advise where applicable and necessary.
  • Ad hoc responsibilities involving payroll and bookkeeping when required.
