Job Purpose
  • Support a diverse portfolio of clients acting in a pivotal role beneath Senior Management team
  • Assist audits from planning to completion, championing quality and compliance at every step
  • Preparation of accounts and tax computations within audit engagements
  • Work closely with the audit lead during site visits
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and acting as their 'go-to’ contact
  • Deliver a strong understanding of risk management during audits, with a critical eye to ensure accuracy
  • Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
  • Manage your own workload, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met

Job Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified, with demonstrable audit experience within UK practice
  • Good understanding of relevant audit software including Microsoft Office, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team
  • Ability to autonomously manage and prioritise workload
