Role Overview:

As an Audit Senior, you'll lead audit fieldwork, be the main client contact on-site, and manage the audit process from planning to completion. We're looking for ambitious, qualified accountants with audit experience ready for a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Senior will lead audits, report to the audit manager.
  • Develop and finalise the audit plan.
  • Identify key audit risks and plan appropriate work.
  • Set and monitor budgets, execute fieldwork.
  • Draft financial statements, letters of representation, and audit findings reports.
  • Manage and support the audit team on-site.
  • Address client queries and potential issues promptly.
  • Review audit working papers and provide feedback.

Working Arrangements for an Audit Senior:

  • 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

  • Primary base: Nottingham Office; occasional work at client premises required.
