Auditor - £38,000 + outstanding benefits
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid - 2 days on-site / 3 days home / flexible)
We are recruiting for an Auditor to join leading national organisation within the not-for-profit sector working to change lives and make a difference
You will be joining a highly welcoming, professional, and supportive team where long-term progression and development of staff is key to the organisation's success.
You will be working in Nottingham City Centre offices, offering parking and flexible working times/ days.
About the Role
As an Auditor, you will play a key part in delivering a comprehensive risk-based assurance program. You will ensure that service providers comply with financial and contractual obligations, helping to recover incorrectly charged amounts and recommending improvements to processes and controls. Your work will focus on three core areas:
• Cost Audits: Ensuring all costs charged against contracts are valid.
• Contract Audits: Verifying that key contract obligations are being met.
• Internal Control Reviews: Assessing internal controls to ensure they are effective and well-designed.
You will manage specific contracts, conduct assurance activities and work closely with stakeholders to resolve queries. The role offers development opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a growing business.
To do this role, you will need the following skills/quals:
• ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualified (or part-qualified).
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in auditing and accounting, with a good understanding of financial principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
