Our client is a well-established and respected family owned Nottingham business with offices located city outskirts they are seeking a Finance Manager/Company Accountant. Modern offices with a friendly established team. Free car-parking.
The role is due to the Company Accountant retiring so they are seeking a friendly team orientated person with a strong finance background good analytical skills .
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and preparing payroll details for the external accountants.
Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Deal with the external accountants on a monthly/yearly basis.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making for the Directors.
You will have strong IT skills and have experience of MS office and Excel. Enjoy working as part of the team and handling all aspects of finance. This is a great hands-on role.
An accountancy qualification would be higher advantageous but good QBE (qualified by experience) accountants are welcome to apply.
