Sonic Summary

This part-time Accountant role requires 2.5 to 3 days of work per week, or can be split over 5 days, with a salary of £55,000 to £60,000 FTE.
The position is with a small, growing distribution company near Bingham, with a turnover of less than 5 million.
Candidates should have experience in VAT, preferably EU VAT, and be comfortable handling various financial aspects including import/export documentation and cash flow forecasting.
The successful applicant will report directly to the Managing Director and will need strong interpersonal skills for this hands-on role.
While qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA are advantageous, candidates who are qualified by experience (QBE) are also encouraged to apply.

Our client is a small growing Distribution company based near Bingham who are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their small team. Turnover is below 5 million.

They have a newly created role for an experienced Accountant to report directly to the MD.

The role will be extremely varied and would suit a "hands-on individual" with good interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will have experience in VAT preferably EU VAT dealing with multiply countries.

Handling all aspects of the finance/accounts for the business
Import/Export documentation
VAT Returns
Dealing with foreign currencies
Forecasting and Budgeting
Cashflow forecasting/analysis
Supervising accounts clerk
Ad hoc reporting

This is a position which will expand with the company and offers good opportunities.

Qualification in any of the following would be advantageous AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA however candidates who are QBE are welcome to apply.
