  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Review tax compliance and collaborate with external auditors for the annual audit process.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, assisting them with financial matters as required.
  • Develop and implement efficient financial processes and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent (or qualified by experience).
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
