Description

  • Oversee the monthly management accounts process, including sales ledger entries, accrued income, and debtor control reconciliation.
  • Manage revenue and bad debt reconciliations within the P&L.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations for debtor movements, VAT, CCL, and cash.
  • Handle bad debt provisioning and write-offs.
  • Prepare KPI reports for inclusion in Board presentations.
  • Collaborate with the business and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
  • Proactively identify and address business risks.
  • Analyse revenue transactions for accurate P&L coding and tax compliance.
  • Work with the Group Risk & Internal Audit Manager to ensure effective internal controls and procedures.
  • Support the annual audit and statutory accounts process.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple deadlines.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required by the business.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Skilled - Excellent MS excel skills are required.
  • Knowledgeable - you are technically strong with up to date IFRS and VAT knowledge.
