Description
- Oversee the monthly management accounts process, including sales ledger entries, accrued income, and debtor control reconciliation.
- Manage revenue and bad debt reconciliations within the P&L.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for debtor movements, VAT, CCL, and cash.
- Handle bad debt provisioning and write-offs.
- Prepare KPI reports for inclusion in Board presentations.
- Collaborate with the business and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments.
- Proactively identify and address business risks.
- Analyse revenue transactions for accurate P&L coding and tax compliance.
- Work with the Group Risk & Internal Audit Manager to ensure effective internal controls and procedures.
- Support the annual audit and statutory accounts process.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple deadlines.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required by the business.
Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Skilled - Excellent MS excel skills are required.
- Knowledgeable - you are technically strong with up to date IFRS and VAT knowledge.
