Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level while making a real difference in the renewable energy sector? We're on the lookout for a Financial Accountant to join our friendly and supportive Finance team in Nottingham. This is your chance to play a key role in managing the financial side of impactful and exciting projects.What You’ll Be Doing:

Preparing monthly management accounts – including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments.
Producing quarterly consolidated accounts and monthly KPI reports to keep things on track.
Handling cashflow forecasting and monthly cash management – your expertise will keep us on solid ground!
Reviewing quarterly VAT returns and ensuring intercompany reconciliations are spot-on.
Assisting with annual budgets, statutory accounts (under IFRS/FRS 102), and lender reporting.
Supporting audits, tax compliance, and responding to fund team queries.

What We’re Looking For:

Have experience in some aspects of management accounts & statutory accounts
Part qualified & looking to become qualified
Are super organized, proactive, and enjoy working independently.
Know your way around Excel and enjoy diving into the details.
Are working towards or close to completing a professional accounting qualification.

Bonus Points If You Have:

Solid experience with statutory accounts preparation – but don’t worry if you don’t; we’ll support you as you grow!
