Exciting Opportunity: Finance Role in a Rapidly Growing Business!

I'm currently working with an ambitious and fast-growing company that's looking to bring in a talented and motivated individual to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to make an impact and grow their career within a forward-thinking business that's shaking up the industry.

The Role: In this dynamic role, you'll be a key part of the Finance team, helping to produce insightful financial reports, drive performance, and ensure all accounting tasks are completed to the highest standards. You'll work closely with various departments across the business and have regular interaction with senior management, including Board-level exposure.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the monthly management accounts process (sales ledger journals, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.)
  • Preparing KPI analysis for Board packs
  • Managing and developing a Sales Ledger team responsible for customer receipts, invoicing, and refunds
  • Supporting the annual audit and statutory accounts process
  • Collaborating with the Group Risk & Internal Audit Manager to ensure internal controls are operating effectively
  • Juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to support business needs

About You: My client is looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified: Fully/partly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience (AAT Technicians considered)
  • Excel Savvy: Strong MS Excel skills are essential
  • Technically Skilled: Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and VAT
  • Analytical: You have a keen eye for detail and a naturally curious mindset
