You will be working with a stable organisation that has a manufacturing division of c25m.Your new roleThey are looking to hire a finance manager / controller for the team where you will be involved in the costs, monthly reporting, budgeting and business partnering for the manufacturing division (c25m). Responsibilities will include:

  • Full preparation and control of the production and manufacturing accounts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of regular group reports including monthly management accounts, cash reporting and quarterly statutory consolidation
  • Working with site teams and the shared service department to review and understand monthly costs whilst improving reporting accuracy
  • Periodically visiting job sites
  • Reconciling key balance sheet accounts
  • Preparation of year-end accounts and group consolidation (IFRS)
  • Compliance activities: audit, tax and statutory returns
  • Provide technical accounting guidance where needed re UK/international GAAP
  • Support Chief Financial Officer in preparation of plans/forecasts

What you'll need to succeedIn a hands-on role, you will be the right hand for the CFO who is keen to bring in someone confident, qualified (or actively studying) and experienced within manufacturing. You will be tenacious with a keen interest in business partnering, team management and strong costings experience, feeling comfortable taking a lead in this department.
