Job role: Financial Controller
Salary: 40k-50k

Hours: 2 days per week

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the daily financial operations of our business. This role involves managing key financial processes, including reporting, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and more.

What will the role involve?

  • Handle the full process of invoice management, approvals, payment runs, and weekly employee expense claims
  • Reconcile receipts and credit card statements
  • Issue credit notes, and coordinate with internal teams on changes
  • Oversee credit control
  • Post journal entries accurately to keep financial records up-to-date. Support the preparation of financial statements
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Assist in monthly and annual reporting, including profit & loss, forecasting, and VAT returns
  • Support year-end accounts up to trial balance and assist with audit tasks.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience of tracking monthly profit and loss reports
  • ACCA, CIMA, AAT qualifications is desirable
  • The ability and initiative to work on your own and within a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
