We're excited to have an opportunity in our Finance cost team for a Financial Modelling Analyst. This role sits within the FP&A team and will report into the Head of Cost. In this role, you'll support different business areas requiring financial modelling & analysis support and help deliver efficiencies across various processes within the team.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Review, recommend, and build finance models to support business insights and help our client make informed decisions.
  • Drive process efficiencies within their team with an ultimate aim to reduce manual intervention.
  • Identify key variables and assumptions for cost modelling.

What we're looking for:

Our client is looking for someone who can offer support across different business areas with:

  • Solid financial modelling experience, understanding of key drivers, risks, and sensitivities in financial modelling.
  • Ability to build financial models with input and support as required from the project manager.
  • Advanced knowledge of GSuite tools, including Google Sheets and Google Slides, with an ability to develop and share information in an increasingly visual manner to aid senior decision making.
  • An effective communicator who can clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts to a wide range of audiences.
  • Self-motivated and confident in working independently.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills

The role is a financial modelling analyst hence key skills that we are looking for are for solid modelling experience esp with Google suite (including building models), understanding the key drivers / risks / sensitivities and good communication skills

The role will require you to be in the Office 3 days per week on a hybrid working location pattern

Our client's office is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Nottingham train station and Nottingham Station tram station, City of Nottingham. This is a contract role for 6 months
