Robert Half are working exclusively with a Business in Nottingham on their search for a Group Accountant to join them on a 3-6 month contract.
The Role:
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate statutory financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure adherence to local and group accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors for annual audits, including preparation of a timetable for the delivery of the process.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, ensuring all required documentation is prepared and available in a timely manner.
- Address audit queries and ensure timely resolution of any audit issues.
The person:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or similar)
- Experience of FRS 102 statutory accounts preparation, financial controls and the audit process.
- In-depth knowledge of FRS102 and other relevant accounting standards.
