New In-House Tax Opportunity
East Midlands - Hybrid (2/3 days wfh) £60 base + car allowance
Supporting the Head of Tax and working with a small dedicated team you will…
Act as Business Partner across the groups UK businesses which include Retail, Ecommerce and Wholesale:
Within the group responsibilities of the Tax team include:
- Management of the Corporation Tax compliance process, including:
- Returns for the main retail operating companies in the UK and Ireland
- Tax governance matters including SAO & CCO
- Review of quarterly CT reporting for other UK companies
- Tax input for the UK Financial Statements
- Monthly/quarterly tax group reporting
- Calculations of CT payments for all companies
- Completion of certain VAT returns (where not being prepared centrally)
- Dealing with tax audits and HMRC correspondence
- Some Import VAT & Customs support
- Contact point for tax queries
- Supporting group TP team with preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation
- Tax process improvement
- Certain Employment Tax matters
