SF is recruiting for an exciting Commercial FP&A Manager opportunity on behalf of one of our long standing clients for their head office based in Nottinghamshire.
£60,000 - £70,000 + 10% Bonus + exceptional benefits package

Our client is keen to attract a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) to report to the Financial Director and lead on the transformation of current reporting to drive and aid sound business decision making through high quality data. With an opportunity to build and grow in this role our client is seeking a strong leader of with a sound Commercial and FP&A background. Proactively partnering stakeholders across the business this role will manage all aspects of reporting, forecasting and analysis for the business, consolidating the output from the wider finance team.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Preparation of the annual UK budget (December year-end), including engagement with cross-functional stakeholders to understand key activity, revenue and cost drivers
- Co-ordination of the overseas entity budgets with their respective Financial Controllers (US and Spain)
- Delivery of a consolidated budget, inclusive of P&L, Cashflow and Balance sheet
- Work in conjunction with CFO/FD to deliver budget output to internal stakeholders and Board
- Using the annual budget and live trading indicators to provide both short-term and longer-term forecasts, including 5-year plan
- Responsibility for the rolling 12-month cash flow forecasting and collaboration with wider finance to ensure alignment with short-term (daily cash) forecasting
- Improving financial models to support the company's strategic goals, including conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Providing commercial financial analysis on KPIs to aid decision making
- Monitoring key financial and operational metrics, analysing variances, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance and drive profitability
- Partner with department heads and business leaders to understand their financial needs, provide insightful analysis, and support decision-making of ad hoc requests
- Working collaboratively with the IT function to improve the quality and availability of metrics in PowerBI
- Lead on the implementation of new products from a finance perspective
- Improving our understanding of competitor products and pricing strategies, including maintenance of a competitor price log for headline offerings
- Improve the business understanding of product penetration and contribution, including by funding source
- Deliver the annual price rise process, including engagement with senior stakeholders and ensuring update of all systems and literature
