Our client based in Nottingham and are seeking a talented Head of Commercial Finance to join them due to an extended period of growth. Reporting to the FD you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our clients business. As you grow the finance function you will provide valuable insights, strategic financial guidance, and drive effective decision-making processes.

Core responsibilities:
- Day to day supervision of a team of Business Controllers/Partners
- Team development/promotion and succession planning
- Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts, P&L and Cash
- Enhance business reporting to effectively control and improve the organisation
- Lead the annual Operational Planning process
- Provide insight, detailed analysis and explanation around monthly actuals and any deviation to forecasts, plans and prior year.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) with proven commercial acumen with in a project environment either construction of manufacturing. You will have previous business partnering experience coupled with a strong understanding of technical accounting. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business and challenge in the right way. Previous experience of working in a business with contracts and projects either within construction or manufacturing or a linking sector would be an advantage.
